How do you get the best out of your web site?
You want Google and the other search engines to visit and then rank your site as high as you can get it. Elsewhere on this site we'll talk about Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) but initially I can tell you that changing content is key to success.
One of the reasons I want you to be in control of your content is that it's more cost effective for you.
I talked to a woman in 2008 who had been charged £70 by her Web Designer to change 4 words on her site.
I always use a Content Management System (CMS) which puts you in control. If you can type a page in Word, you can update your web site. You can do it from any computer connected to the Net, anywhere in the world.
I know this is true because I've edited customers sites from Spain, Tunisia and Istanbul!
